The Hot Topics area of the Inner Reach Health Information Gathering System - HiGS - Library contains articles and information about timely public health issues and includes articles on complicated health matters that are commonly talked about in the media. These articles will tend to be longer and comprehensive with a lot of information all in one place. Since hot topics are just that - controversial and timely, the Inner Reach team decided to create this new holding area in the HiGS Library where certain special health matters could be found. Epidemics and other complicated topics alike will find their home in this new section. Although the topics may be controversial, the goal is to present as many opinions and ways of approaching matters as possible without bias so health consumers can come to their own conclusions.
